I absolutely love the video that I created for this project! I chose to focus on a topic that would be relevant to my students; and what's more relevant to middle schoolers than grammar? :) My favorite part of the video is the second half in which I had friends (and strangers) act out a wide variety of verbs. I wish I could have included more of these clips in the video!
I really enjoyed working with Windows Movie Maker to produce this product. I have always seen the icon on my computer, but I've never actually played around with it. I thought that it would be super difficult to operate...I was incorrect. The program is very user friendly, and I was able to format the video in about a day. It turned out exactly how I wanted!
I would like to use some sort of video editing software with my students in the future. I think that I would definitely seek out the librarian or technology facilitator at my school to help introduce my students to the video editing program first so my students could then focus a substantial amount of class time utilizing the software and its features to create engaging projects.
